Let the beauty of what you love be what you do
~RumiGloria Guillaume is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) whose practice specializes in spiritual and inner development for a successful balanced life. She comes from humble beginnings in Mt. Vernon, NY. Residing in an urban area deepened her understanding and compassion for people who are dealt a challenging hand in life. Throughout her childhood she possessed a strong inner faith and instinctual understanding of people’s emotions and inner workings. She knew very early on that she understood people in a unique way and had the ability to help them.
Gloria’s inner passion, drive and tenacity helped her have a successful career in the financial industry. For over 15 years Gloria worked for some of the top corporate giants such as JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, PHH Mortgage, Citizens Bank, and GMAC Mortgage. She held several leadership positions throughout those corporations. In all her positions she was an effective performance leader, change agent and trainer for organizations. She helped guide teams to exceed production models and have strong customer service. Gloria thrives on providing an individualized touch. Paying attention to all the intricate details has continually pushed her forward in any corporate environment. Working for those companies allowed her to have a hands-on approach in people development. She learned early in her career that developing solid people took understanding how a person works within their work environment and what external factors and inner ideas are driving their behavior to be successful or unsuccessful.
Besides her career, volunteerism is an important activity Gloria enjoys. One of her most notable volunteering opportunities occurred when she had her first child. She dedicated her personal time to serve on the Board of a National Non-Profit called Mocha Moms, Inc. She was a Co-President of the South Jersey chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. and then volunteered as a Co-State Coordinator of New Jersey. Both of those roles provided her with on the ground experience to support many types of women and moms. She faced challenging scenarios’ that women, mother’s and families deal with daily and was an active listening ear providing genuine, thought provoking guidance to her members.
After coming from the urban streets of Mt. Vernon, successfully working in leadership and coaching roles within the financial industry and closely mentoring and supporting women through a National Non-Profit she was led to create Connected Purpose.
At Connected Purpose she facilitates assisting clients to be and accept who they are authentically through the daily practice of Mindfulness Meditation, live a life filled with drive and passion in all their actions through empowering visualization activities and speak loving words of affirmation into their lives and others to develop a fearless heart of compassion and understanding. To overcome hindering beliefs, procrastination and negative self talk she utilizes techniques from NLP and elements of Buddhist Psychology. These methods help clients uncover their personal path to a balanced and accomplished life from the inside out. As your Spiritual Life Coach Gloria will guide you to connect with your inner self, tap into your purpose, overcome limiting behaviors and create substantial balance and focus in your work and life.
